The activities of professional athletes, as well as the relationships among sports clubs, federations, sponsors, agents, and other stakeholders, are predominantly regulated through contracts. Therefore, the comprehensive civil-law regulation of contractual relations in the sports sector is of significant scientific and practical relevance.
