This study presents an empirical assessment of the legal guarantees protecting investors’ rights in foreign-invested enterprises, drawing on evidence from enterprises operating in Uzbekistan and China. The research evaluates several critical dimensions, including corporate governance arrangements, the institutional framework of legal protection, tax incentive policies, and procedures governing capital repatriation. In addition, the sectoral allocation of foreign investment and cross-country variations are examined. The findings indicate that strengthening investor protection and maintaining a stable investment climate require the development of a centralized and transparent digital platform that facilitates regulatory coordination and information accessibility. By combining practical business experience with an analysis of the political and legal environments in Uzbekistan and China, the study identifies institutional mechanisms that may enhance the effectiveness of investor rights protection.
