Abstract

This article examines the principal ways to improve the financial efficiency of enterprises operating in the digital economy. The growing application of digital technologies is transforming traditional business models, financial management systems, production processes, and relationships with customers and suppliers. Under these conditions, financial efficiency depends not only on the volume of available resources but also on the ability of enterprises to collect, process, and use data for timely managerial decision-making. The study considers such instruments as financial process automation, cloud accounting, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, digital payment systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, and real-time financial monitoring. Particular attention is paid to the economic conditions of Uzbekistan, where the digital transformation of enterprises is becoming an important factor in improving competitiveness, investment attractiveness, profitability, and financial stability. The article identifies high implementation costs, insufficient digital infrastructure, cybersecurity risks, a shortage of qualified personnel, and organizational resistance as significant barriers to digital modernization. It is argued that enterprises can improve their financial results by integrating digital technologies with strategic planning, cost management, internal control, employee training, and performance evaluation. The findings indicate that a comprehensive digital transformation strategy can reduce operating expenses, accelerate financial transactions, strengthen risk management, improve resource allocation, and create sustainable competitive advantages. The study concludes that digitalization should be regarded as a systemic managerial and economic transformation rather than merely the introduction of individual technological solutions.
