Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection remains a paramount global health concern, characterized by an insidious progression toward liver cirrhosis, hepatic decompensation, and hepatocellular carcinoma. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical characteristics, cumulative incidence, and predictors of liver cirrhosis development within a clinical cohort of patients with chronic HCV infection.
