Abstract

Integration of drones and remote monitoring technologies ensures situational awareness, speedier response, and accuracy in decision-making in emergency management. This technology allows rapid data collection, real-time surveillance, and enhanced coordination of rescue efforts in cases of natural disasters, accidents, and public safety threats. Their versatility allows deployment in areas inaccessible or hazardous to humans, reducing risks to human responders. This article discusses the different applications, benefits, challenges, and future prospects of drones and remote monitoring in emergency management and also highlights the vital role that these drones play in modern disaster response frameworks.
