Abstract

The article analyzes the normative legal documents developed in 2001–2016 in our country aimed at improving the living standards of persons with disabilities and lonely elderly people, increasing their social activity, and strengthening their role in society, as well as the legal and social foundations for their support. In addition, positive changes in the lives of persons with disabilities and lonely elderly people are highlighted, and a comparative analysis of the situation in 2017–2025 is presented with its specific features.
