Abstract

When cultivating pumpkin varieties Spanish 73, Shirintoy, Izyashchnaya, Konfetka, Yaponskaya, and Vitaminnaya using resource water-conserving technology with various planting schemes: double-row (360+90)/2×80 cm; (270+90)/2×90 cm and single-row 180×90 cm and 180×60 cm, all varieties in the 180×90 cm planting scheme produced their first ripe fruits 3-12 days earlier compared to the control and other variants. Commercial yield was higher compared to the control and other variants: for Spanish 73 variety by 17.1-65.5%, for Izyashchnaya variety by 22.3-91.2%, for Konfetka variety by 15.2-29%, for Shirintoy variety by 11.8-75.9%, for Yaponskaya variety by 12.3-46.3%, and for Vitaminnaya variety by 12.2-50.0%.
