Abstract

This study was devoted to evaluating the variability of stem and panicle morphological and breeding traits of introduced quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) varieties and accessions under irrigated conditions. Important morphological traits, including stem diameter, height of the first lateral branch, number of panicles per plant, panicle width, panicle shape, and panicle density, were studied in different introduced quinoa varieties and accessions. Quantitative traits were analyzed based on the mean value, standard deviation, standard error of the mean, and coefficient of variation.
