The study offers a scholarly account of the role of folklore materials in developing students’ national values, literary thinking, speech culture, and competencies. The experience of global pedagogy, particularly that of Finland, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other CIS countries, is examined comparatively, and advanced methodological approaches are analyzed. The findings indicate that lessons organized on the basis of oral folklore materials significantly enhance the quality of education, student motivation, and educational effectiveness.
