Abstract

The effective organization of correctional and developmental sessions is an essential component of inclusive education for learners with special educational needs. Contemporary inclusive practice requires correctional support to be integrated with the general educational process rather than implemented as an isolated system of intervention. This article examines the pedagogical and methodological foundations for organizing correctional and developmental sessions in inclusive educational settings. The study is based on theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, synthesis, systematization, and pedagogical modeling of contemporary approaches to inclusive and special education. Particular attention is given to transforming correctional sessions from deficit-oriented interventions into development-oriented educational activities that promote participation, communication, functional competence, self-regulation, and independence. The study concludes that correctional and developmental sessions in inclusive education should be evaluated not only by the reduction of specific difficulties but also by the learner’s increased participation, independence, functional competence, and ability to transfer acquired skills to classroom and everyday situations.
